Question : Why can't I see anything from the data projector even though there is something on my notebook screen?
Answer :
The VGA external output on your notebook may not be activated. If using a Compaq notebook, you may need to hold down the "Function" key and press the "F4" key. For Toshiba notebooks, hold down the "Function" key and press the "F5" key.
 
Question :How can I protect myself against email viruses?
Answer :
Always update the Anti-Virus software that is included with every rental desktops & notebooks to ensure you are protected from the latest viruses.
Don't open unknown email attachments.
Backup your data.
 
Question : Which should I start up first? My laptop or the projector?
Answer :
It is simpler to attach the cable from your laptop computer to the projector before turning on your computer, in many cases the computer will then detect the projector and set itself up automatically. Most current notebook computers offer a function key to turn on the RGB connector and all desktops have the output running all the time, so the projector can be plugged in as required.
 
Question : My laptop has "frozen". How do I shut down or re-start?
Answer :
Press the power button for 10seconds and your laptop will shut down. Press button again to startup.
