Organised by the Irish Technology Leadership Group (ITLG), a Silicon Valley-based organisation that works to improve technology links between Ireland and the US, Young Innovators encourages problem solving, creative thinking, innovation and leadership skills in the young people of Ireland.
This year’s event will see nearly 700 pupils from across Ireland take part in a one-day competition to come up with an innovative idea on how people will live, work, shop, play, travel and learn 50 years from now. Given expert advice and mentorship, the teams will compete for the top prize (a trip to Silicon Valley) as well as lots of other goodies.
